Has anyone who lives abroad figured out how to pay for TurboTax with a foreign card?

I am based in the UK and no longer have a US card and at the checkout only US based billing addresses can be entered. On top of which it looks like there is no way to chat to a human (only AI) and they give you a US based phone number to call which my mobile plan can't call. Help?

Yes, TurboTax does not accept foreign credit cards for payment primarily due to U.S. banking requirements and foreign cards do not offer the same protections as US based card in case of fraud. There are some alternate solutions to consider.

    1. Virtual Credit Cards: Some services, like USA2ME, offer virtual credit cards with US billing addresses. These can be used for purchases on US-based sites.
    2. Contacting Support: If the company only provides a US-based phone number, you might try using a VoIP service like Skype or Google Voice to make the call. These services often allow international calls at a lower cost.
    3. Third-Party Services: Consider using a mail forwarding service that also provides payment solutions for international customers.
