Home office expenses - pro-rate if not for entire year?

I had a home office for 4 months of 2015. I specified it was only for 4 months when responding to one the questions.  When asked to report my Utilities and Insurance in the Home office section - should i only include the amount for those 4 months? or report the yearly total? (as I'm guessing the fact that i entered 4 months in another question may result in the amount being adjusted correctly?)

Yes, if you report Actual Expenses, enter shared and specific expenses only for the months when you used your home office.

The number of months you enter is used only if you take the Simplified Method for the Home Office Deduction or if you ran a day care facility.
