If you have a 1098 from your lender showing the property tax paid in 2023, why do you want to show a different amount than what is shown on the tax document?  What are you trying to do?

I made a mistake and entered wrong number on turbotax form I want to delete and enter correct amount, turbo tax does not allow me to edit.

It sounds like you are trying to edit the information on the form itself.  If so, go to step by step and edit in the program instead.

  1.  Go to the Deductions and Credits section of your return.
  2. Go to Your Home
  3. Property Taxes
