Question

How can I go back and add RX meds and co-pays to my medical expenses. TT will not let me go back, tells me standard deduction is higher. I havent even enter my medical

To add in Medical expenses in TurboTax, follow these steps:

 

  • Sign into TurboTax
  • Select Deductions and Credits
  • Click Edit next to medical expenses
  • Answer interview questions

To claim medical expenses, you must itemize your return and your medical expenses must exceed 7.5% of your AGI.  See the link below for more information:
