Using the letter from West Virginia, "MV-1," you can claim the credit on your tax return.

Here's how to do this in TurboTax Online:

Navigate to State Taxes > Your State Returns > West Virginia> Continue
Continue through the interview screens until you come to "Motor Vehicle Property Tax Adjustment Credit", answer "Yes"
Add a Form MV-1 and enter the information from your letter.

If you don't receive the MV-1 letter by February 15, 2025, go to MyTaxes and request another Motor Vehicle Property Tax letter.
