Question

How do I obtain my 23 yr old Hud settlement statement? My attorney, realtor, & title company no longer have them. Mortgage co is dissolved. Suggestions?

    You may be able to obtain them from the recorder of deeds in your county.

    I did contact the recorders/deeds office.  They don't go back that far.

    You can submit a request of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) by mail, faxing, or through an online request.
