Question

I cannot find how to add a Form 8936 clean vehicle credit to my tax return. I received the credit when I bought the car but the IRS said I must still file it.

Turbo says just search for the form while in your return and click jump to but I am not finding eh form at all.

Go to the Deductions and Credits > Cars and Other Things You Own > Energy-Efficient Vehicles section of your return and click Start to enter the information about your EV purchase.

When you are finished with that section, you should expect to see that you are receiving $0 for your credit since you transferred it to the dealer at the time of the purchase.
