Question

I do not have a foreign account, why is it asking for value of my account when there is none. This is holding up completing my return

I'm I being ripped off by Turbo Tax so they can charge me for something I don't have

1. Go back to the income section, on the bottom right, select continue or done to go through a series of questions, including the foreign account question.

 

2. Review your forms and see if you have one that should not be there and delete it. I wonder if 8938 is in your return. If you are using:

Online: see How do I view and delete forms in TTO?

 Desktop: If you are working in the cd/download TurboTax program:

  1. On the top right, there is a FORMS button. 
  2. Click on FORMS.
  3. Locate the form you want to delete.
  4. Click on the form name.
  5. Below the form, bottom left, select DELETE FORM button.
