Question

I don't have a W in Box 12 for my HSA Contributions. Can I put them in somehwere else?

The only option is contribuitions I made myself, not through my employer.

Contributions made through your payroll would be listed on your W-2 in Box 12 with Code W.

If you made contributions not listed on your W-2, enter them as additional contributions.

    I made contributions through my paycheck that my employer sent to the HSA and they are not listed on the W2.

    They should be in on your W-2 Box 12 code W.  If not, you'll need to get a corrected W-2 from your employer.
