I entered the right amount of my primary residence's property tax and mortgage interest, but they show higher amount on my tax return?

Is it possible that you could have duplicated your entries?  You should go back and double check you entries.

    1. Go to the Deductions & Credits Section
    2. Under Your tax breaks, select Add/Edit under Mortgage Interest and Refinancing (Form 1098)
    3. Add the information from your form here.

If your entries are duplicate, you can delete one of the entries.  If they aren't duplicate and the amounts are still showing up incorrectly, delete your entries and enter the information again.

See the images with some of the steps below as a reference.  Feel free to reach back if your problem persists.
