I have mortgage interest income (not expense). What form do I report that on?

That is reported to you on Form 1098.

Sometimes, such as when an individual holds the loan (like a Seller) you won't have Form 1098, but you would enter the interest paid as if you had Form 1098.

The loan must be secured (a lien on) the house and used only for the purchase/build of the home.
