I have tried to delete my school donation 5times TurboTax said I had too much credits but didn’t delete my school donations

TurboTax said I had too much credit. I tried 5 times to delete my school credit but the program will not allow me to do it

Are you referring to your donations on your federal return or is it on a state return? If it's for your federal return, you can follow the following steps to change them:

Continue your return
Go to donations to charitable organizations
Select the Yes button to answer the question: Did you make any donations to charity in 2024?
If you have an account with ItsDeductible, select Yes
Begin the process of importing your donation information; if you select No, continue to the next step
Follow the onscreen instructions to finish entering your donations
