i received a 5498sa not a 1099 sa

My hsa bank was purchased by another bank. Thus the account was moved in the middle of the year. I received two 5498 sa forms and no 1099 sa. Turbo tax ignores me and says i am mistaken and continues to try to fill out a 1099 sa. Help.

I do not understand. What do you mean that TurboTax tells you that you are mistaken? What do you mean that TurboTax tries to fill it out a 1099-SA? What is TurboTax actually telling you?

There is nothing wrong with one HSA bank acquiring another mid-year. As for the two 5498-SA forms. that's of no matter, because you don't enter anything from the 5498-SA anyway.

But please put some context around what you are saying. What is TurboTax saying exactly?
