I share a house with my boyfriend and the property is in his name on the deed. Am I still a "homeowner" for the property tax credit?

I am required to choose if (a) I was a renter, (b) I was a homeowner, or (c) I was both a homeowner and a renter but none of these seem accurate in my situation

By "share" a house---do you just mean that you live together? Is your name on the mortgage or on the deed to the house? If not, you do not enter anything at all about your BF's house on your own tax return.
