If I bought a 2025 regular gas vehicle in 2024 can I get a tax credit for that?

    There is no credit for that.

    Probably not.  You may be able to deduct the sales tax and possibly a part of the registration fee, but that would only be if you itemized and chose to deduct sales taxes instead of state and local income taxes.  If you take the standard deduction, as most people do, there is nothing deductible.   Itemizing tax deductions.
