Question

In the section where Turbotax asks about HSA HDHP plan coverage of my wife, is it referring to my work plan (she has) or additional coverage outside of mine? (she hasn't)

She has no employer and no coverage outside of the family HDHP plan provided by my employer

It's asking if she has her own HSA plan. You would only indicate that you have a plan and show that you have family coverage to determine your limit.
