Is there a form for disaster relief in Texas?

    Please see these IRS pages for Texas disaster relief: Hurricane Beryl here, and various storms in May (like the one that hit me).

     

    As you can see there are various forms of "relief" offered by the IRS, many of them being delayed deadlines. If you had actual damage in a federally decaled disaster (see the links above), then you file a 4864. 

     

    You can do this by going to Deductions & Credits->Other Deductions and Credits->Casualties and Thefts. Note that you will be asked the FEMA code number fr or the disaster, so you need to read those links closely.
