I filed my taxes and attached form 2555, but when TurboTax filed my return, form 2555 was not attached. The IRS said it was never sent through e-file. Smart check showed no errors on my return. How does this happen?

@Davtucker1176 , can you tell me a little bit more about this -- when did you file, when accepted and what letter did you get from the IRS ? Can you go back into your software and print out the filing copy and see what is wrong> Cannot understand why this would happen -- you are talking about 2024 return right ?

Even if you do not actually print -- when you go to print center and on the right pane you should see all the docs to be transmitted -- and 2555 should be near the end of the federal filing list.

TurboTax may want to look into your files to see what took place
