My late husband was a musician and received royalties from his music. I became his successor and received his royalties. Where do I enter? Is it "Rental properties and royalties" section (Sch E)?

Yes, royalties are reported on Schedule E for rental properties and royalties.

To get to the section to enter the royalties you can enter royalties in the search bar and then jump to to take you to the place to enter the royalties.
