My schedule B, 7a, is showing the box checked for "yes", even though it should be "no." I do not have an interest in a foreign account. How do I change that?

I already made sure that I don't have the box checked for FACTA.

Go back through the questions related to foreign accounts and be sure they are answered correctly.

The question about having control of a foreign bank account, trust, or foreign asset comes up when you have finished the Income section of your return.

Go to the Wages and Income section, scroll to the bottom, and click Continue. One of the next few questions before getting to the Deductions and Credits section is about the foreign accounts.

Same issue. I can't clear the 7a box no matter what I do. This is a bug!! please advise
