Question

On your 10-40 return. Why does it not show the change in the other side of the decimal?

    The Form 1040 does not show "cents" --- it uses whole dollar amounts.  Amounts shown have been rounded up or down to whole dollars.   If the "cents" is less than .50 it rounds down; .50 or more rounds up.
