hello,

I'm having an issue inputing my son's pre school tuition in the child dependent tax credit section.   it's asking if my wife or I were full time students, disabled or none of the above.  we were both working, not students and not disabled.  where can I apply my son's tuition in this space to see if we get a credit?  we didn't receive a 1099T but our school gave us all the state and federal Tax Id's.  I have turbotax deluxe.

I'll be grateful for any help or advice.

thanks!

Since you mention 1099-T, I am thinking that you are entering the pre-school tuition in the wrong section.

DO NOT ENTER UNDER Deductions & Credits

    Education

    ENTER UNDER Deductions & Credits

    You and Your Family

Child and Dependent Care Credit Desktop (Dependent Care Credit for Online)

For the dependent care credit, both parents must work, or be full time students. If Turbotax is not seeing that you both work, you may have assigned both W-2s to the same spouse.  Go back and review your W-2s.
