so i make a $50 donation to a QCO  for a credit to decrease my Az tax 2024 owed. now the program says i have to go back the the Fed sched A to put it on the itemized list. but, since i'm doing the actual donation in 2025, do i wait and put it on the list for 2025 fed taxes? i take the standard deduction for both Feds and AZ.

If you made the donation in 2025, then you should enter it as a contribution for 2025 on your federal return. However, contributions are only deductible if you itemize your deductions. If you use the standard deduction, then it won't be deductible on your federal return.
