For your Wisconsin Tax Return

If you rented your home, if the heat was included in your rent, enter your rent in the first box.

If the heat was not included in your rent, enter your rent in the second box

If you owned your own home, you would just enter the Property Taxes that you paid on your home in the third box.

You get a bigger credit if your rent did not include heat.
