so I am trying to find out why my work vehicle deduction dropped from $7622.00 in 2023 to $543.00 in 2024? I actually had more repair costs in 2024?

How old is your vehicle? How long have you had it? Did you take the final year of depreciation last year? If so, then it would be lower due to the lack of depreciation expense.

Did you double check your entries? Be sure that you do not have any typos.

Did you use it more for personal than business this year than last? The allocation would cause your expenses to decrease if so.
