Sold co-op. My brother and I co-owned it, and we each received half of the proceeds, reflected on separate 1099-S forms. The apartment was my primary residence last year. How do I report this sale in TurboTax?

    1. Log into your tax return and search for "investment income (gains and losses)".
    2. Select "jump to investment income (gains and losses)".
    3. Choose "Second Home" as the type of investment you sold.
    4. Follow the program prompts to enter your sale information.
