Switching back to Standard deduction after going against turbo tax's recommendation and selecting itemized deduction
Hello,
Using the 2024 Home and Office edition of Turbo Tax. Turbo tax suggested that the standardized deduction would be better to use, however I wanted to see what the itemized deduction would be so I selected itemized.
I now have to option to switch back from itemized to the standard deduction. The guidance posted indicates to go through the completion of deductions and credits section again and then select standard deduction, however it is not giving me this option anymore. Can someone please suggest an alternative short of starting from scratch.
