If filing Head of Household and 1/2 of your Social Security exceeds the $25,000 threshold. Are you taxed on this amount or if all income is from Social Security is it not taxed?

    Per IRS:

If Social Security benefits were your only income, your benefits are not taxable and you probably do not need to file a federal income tax return.
