The turbo tax software added a 671,338 expense in my medical inductions that I did not enter and I cannot remove it. How do I get it out of my return?

You can delete this medical expense from your return by going back to your TurboTax entry screens for medical expenses and reviewing your entries to make sure they are correct. There may be a typo or something.

You can get to these screens as follows:

1. Click on Search at the top right corner of your TurboTax screen.
2. Type "medical expenses" in the search box.
3. Click on the link "Jump to medical expenses"
4. Go through your screens and delete any entries that are incorrect or do not belong.

You should also go to your Forms to review your Medical Expenses Worksheet to make sure it is correct and doesn't have any numbers on it it should not have.  If you are not itemizing your deductions, delete the form.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can delete the Form as follows:

1. Click on Forms in the upper right corner of your TurboTax screen to switch to Forms Mode
2. In your left panel of your TurboTax screen scroll down to the Medical Expenses Worksheet
3. If you are not itemizing your deductions, delete it by selecting "Delete Form" on the bottom left of the form and select "Yes" to confirm the deletion.
4. If there is an error on it edit it if you can or go back to that corresponding screen in your medical expenses entry screens in your program and fix the error

If you are using TurboTax Online you can delete the form as follows:

1. Open/Continue your return
2. In your left panel click on "Tax Tools" and then "Tools"
3. Under "Other Helpful Links" choose "Delete a form"
4. Find the Medical Expenses Worksheet and click on the option to delete it
