    If the 1098 is not importing properly, I suggest you delete it and type it in.

    If the state did not come across correctly, there might be other underlining errors as well.

    Thanks. Unfortunately, this did not remedy the mortgage company address being incorrectly identified by TurboTax.  I contacted TurboTax help, but they did not have any answers as to how to manually fix the error.  After much time on hold, they hung up on me.

    If this becomes an error with my submission, at least all my numbers are correct and I had no way of fixing TurboTax error with the address.

    @haelisalee

    But did you delete the ENTIRE 1098 form itself ?   The background forms that needs to be deleted is called the Home Interest Worksheet  (but may also have an actual 1098 form too...delete both if present)

    (Easy to do in Forms Mode, if you are using desktop software.  For the "Online" software you need to use the left-side Tools menu to find the Delete a Form)

    That problem has only happened if people uploaded a PDF or picture of their 1098 into the software, and the AI which interpreted the data messed it up.

    IF you can't import a form, directly from the issuer, don't ever upload a picture or PDF of your paper copy......just enter the data manually
