Question

Turbotax is asking me to give the location or description of a property that resulted in a gain? It was not land but a stock.

The form is populated with info about my stocks.

     You need to delete your entry and start again. When you entered the investment, you were given options, stock, house, other. This time choose stock as the type of entry.
