Question

TurboTax is saying I have a financial account in a foreign country, but I don't. How do I delete this off my taxes?

I keep pressing the button that I don't have financial account in a foreign country and saving, but it keeps reverting back to I have one. How do I fix this? Thank you in advance! 🙂

    In TurboTax Premium Online, access the foreign account question by following these steps:

     

    • Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal.
    • Down the left side of the screen , click on Wages & Income.
    • Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Continue.
    • Continue to the screen Did you own or control a foreign bank account....
    • Select No.

    I am able to view the question reported in Part III at the bottom of Schedule B Interest and Ordinary Dividends.
