We have used this vehicle for spouses self-employed work since 2019 using standard mileage deduction since 2019. Can she use actual expense method in 2024?

Can we switch from standard mileage deduction to actual expenses method in 2024.

    Yes.

     

    If you have used the standard mileage rate method the first year you use the car for business, you are free to switch between the standard milage rate and actual cost method in later years.
