If you're referring to the property key on Form IT-119 for the STAR credit program in New York State, it's a unique identifier shown on the notice you received from the New York State Tax Department. When entering it on Form IT-119, the "R" is pre-populated on the form (Line 1a), and you need to enter the six remaining letters and numbers to complete it
