Where do I report the sale of vacant land if it was sold in 2023 separate from my house? TT will not let me enter a date from 2023. It says it needs to be in 2024.

I paid capital gains on it last year and now filing an amended return and trying to report it with the sale of my main home in 2024. It was adjacent to and used as part of the primary residence.

If the sale occurred in 2023 than that has to be reported on the 2023 tax return. If you filed a 2023 tax return without reporting the sale then the 2023 tax return has to be amended.
