Where do I report UNcovered long-term care expenses for a "live in caretaker" on an elderly parent?

    You can enter the medical expenses under the federal deductions section. Start medical deductions and go through the program.

     

    Your question gives me two different thoughts.

    1. Medical expenses for Sch A. About Publication 502, Medical and Dental Expenses - IRS has a section on Nursing Services along with Maintenance and Personal Care.

     

    2. Live in caretaker - may be a household employee.
