Where in Turbotax do I enter deductions for my California State tax return -property tax, charitable deductions etc... ?

    Those are Itemized Deductions and are entered on the federal portion of your tax return in the Deductions and Credits section.  When you start your CA return, the Itemized Deductions will flow to your state return.
