Why did the reject my form 5695 . I am married but filing separately I paid for the unit entirely by myself

There is a known issue with the IRS accepting returns filed with Form 5695 included that are claiming joint occupancy of the home where the energy improvement was made.  They are expected to be able to process these returns after March 17, 2025.  You can re-submit your return after this date, or print it and file by mail.
