Why is ii saying I had foreign interests

I did not have foreign income and turbo tax said I did

Two possibilities:

1. You do have foreign income since many people do from their investments. Take a look at your 1099s to locate foreign tax paid.

2. You somehow selected you have foreign bank accounts. Return to the income section of the federal program, go through the income to the bottom right, select continue or done and go through the questions to ensure foreign account is not selected.
