Hi, I'm a paid full-time ski and bike Patroller in British Columbia. For this job, I need skis, ski boots, ski bindings, poles, a helmet, and gloves for the winter, and in the summer a bike, helmet, and knee pads. Can I put this in my taxes as work expenses? For the winter I received $145 and for summer $400, but the total for that gear was much higher than what was reimbursed to me.

If you are a US citizen working in Canada but filing a US tax return, then no.  Work-related expenses are not deductible for employees.  If you are self-employed, they may be deductible, but you might have a problem separating personal use from work use.

If you are asking about a Canadian tax return, you need to use the Canada forum, this is the US forum.
