How can I file a T2209?

I have been asked by CRA to file a T2209 after filing my taxes. Can I do this electronically with Turbo Tax online? Is so, how? Thanks!

If you have already filed your return you will need to ReFile.

To enter form T2209 in TurboTax Online log into your TurboTax account click on your 2023 tax return on the left-hand side click on T-Slip scroll down to Foreign Income and enter the foreign information. You will also click on "FIND" and type in Foreign tax credit- and complete that page.

The easiest way is to log in to your CRA my account and enter the information using form T2209. It will be much quicker than Refiling a return.
