    After you use NETFILE, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will issue a confirmation number once it has done a preliminary check of your return and the return is accepted through NETFILE for processing. This usually takes a few seconds. Keep the confirmation number for your records. When you have a NETFILE confirmation code, you can check the status of your tax return using CRA's My Account service.
