Question

I'm filing for my daughter for the first time, but I am getting the error that she is not a first time filer. Is it because I used my email address in her return?

When I entered her contact info, I filled in the "Care of" section with my information, including my email address and phone number.  Could that be why Netfile thinks she has filed before, because I file my returns with the same email address?

    No, the check is done based on personal info such as Name and SIN. 

     

    You can just go back and change the answer to the question about first time filer, and then you should be able to NETFILE her return.
