Hi there,

I went to file my return and at the end I was told that the form I would need is locked and isn't available currently. The form I would need is a T1198, however, I see that as of Feb 2025, you are able to file this electronically. Wondering when this form is going to be available? I'm pretty upset after paying for the deluxe version, that I am now unable to file my taxes. due to an error on TurboTax's end...this should have been expressed PRIOR to me purchasing the program.

What is the estimated time frame that the t1198 form will be unlocked? Will you send a message to me when it is unlocked so that I can file my return? I am pretty ticked off that you wait until after a customer has paid to relay the info that you cant file a return. Very underhanded.

@bitingcat23 We do not have any ETA on this yet but as soon a these forms gets finalize we will be updating them in TurboTax.

T1198 is still locked by CRA & RQ and not finalized by yet. Please refer to this link Why does TurboTax say my forms are locked or haven't been finalized?

We do not have any ETA on this yet but as soon a these forms gets finalize we will be updating them in TurboTax for an accurate calculations.

March 8 2025 and form T1198 is still not available. wonder what is the issue?? anyone able to unlock this form?
