Rent claim

Yes, you will be able to know how much you will get for your rental claim. Please follow the directions below to claim this credit and then see the amount in your return.

Go to Provincial on the left menu in your return then click on Provincial Tax Credit Profile. This will bring you to the Manitoba Tax Credit page where you will check off the Education Property Tax Credit (Rent Paid) then click Continue. You will click on Add New on the bottom right side and then you will now enter your information on this page and click Continue. The next two pages will answer questions about the Climate Action Incentive. The following page is where you will see your Manitoba Tax and Credit Summary. You can scroll down and see the tax credit you claimed: Education Property Tax Credit. Please see the image below.
