I got the above request back from the IRS and wanted to find out what exactly I need to explain and attach. I have a small business as well as my personal income on this tax return. -- Thanks so much!

They want copies of any W-2 forms, plus documentation to show that you actually made a profit from your self-employment (business).

Note that you are required to claim all of your business expenses.
