For the earned income credit if you don't have a qualifying dependent you have to be 25 year old. But if i have a qualifying dependent can I receive it if i'm under 25?

I am claiming a qualifying dependent and meet all the other requirements I just want to make sure my age won't affect me receiving it since i'm only 19.

Based upon your facts, you would be eligiblel for EIC with a qualifying dependent, regardless of your age.

Can someone else claim YOU as a dependent?  If so, you cannot claim a dependent of your own.

No one can claim me as a dependent since I am not currently a full time student. So will i qualify if I can't be claimed?

But were you  a full time student for at least 5 mos in 2016 (even if not currently)?

    I wasn't a full time student in 2016 either.
