Hi I have a quick question my husband is a non resident and has an itin number we are going through immigration to make him legal how do I do my tax return?

Just shy of a year marriage I know that I won't qualify for earned income credit  but I just need to know the steps to take we pay into taxes...he is not working and hasn't been for a while so we don't have a w2 for him trying to figure this out

    You can file as married filing jointly, just put his ITIN number in where it asks for his SSN.
