I filed my taxes by mistake (FL)
I have filed tax return from turbo tax by mistake but I am a student on F1 visa at US. What should be done now? Can I just delete the return filed? Please help as soon as possible.
You cannot just delete a return that has already been filed. You would have to wait until your return gets accepted or rejected. If your return gets rejected, you can make changes to your return & re-e-file (or just leave the account).
If your return gets accepted, you would need to amend your return to fix any errors. Amended returns must be mailed.
