Im an intl student with a F1 visa on OPT. How do I do the w4 form? This will by the 6th taxable period(arrived 2011) I think I'm non exempt now. Single no dependents.
I researched about the topic and many people tell to just put 1 in the number 5, and write npr in the number 6.
But I'm confused bc being here since 2011 makes 2016 be my 6th tax period which would qualify me as non exempt (resident for taxes).
What should I put in the w4 form? I am Single and I'm not dependend for anybody. That would give me a score of 2 as a result at the number 5.
Should I still right something on number 6?
